Peace is your birthright.

Oki, hello!

I am Marla Bosch, a Canadian Certified Counselling Psychotherapist practicing in Pincher Creek and on the Piikani Nation in Southern Alberta

Supporting mind, body, and spirit reconnection through integrated trauma-informed psychotherapy

Breathe. Reach out. We can do this.

Healing is a sacred return to wholeness.

Oki, Hello, my name is Marla.

I am a somatic psychotherapist, trauma-informed clinician, and pediatric speech-language pathologist with 28 years of experience supporting children, families, and individuals through healing and transformation.

In my practice, I help people reconnect with what has always been whole within them. Whether you're navigating depression, addiction, anxiety, acute or compound trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or simply want to move forward in your life, my work is grounded in compassion, body-based wisdom, and deep respect for your lived experience.

I offer therapy for all ages, including children, teens, and adults. My trainings:

  • Narrative therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), ACT, Polyvagal Theory and somatic experiencing

  • Trauma-sensitive yoga, breathwork, reflexology, Reiki, tarot, and craniosacral therapy

  • Indigenous-informed and relational approaches

  • Integrated play therapy and child-centred work

  • Clinical hypnotherapy, guided imagery, and mindful meditation

  • EFT (emotionally focused therapy for couples) and Gottman Level 1

As a lifelong guest on Blackfoot Territory, I honour culture, identity, and intergenerational strength. Therapy with me is a relationship, rooted in safety, attunement, and trust.

It would be an honour to walk alongside you on your path to healing.

  • Individual Therapy

Healing begins within. I offer a safe, attuned space to reconnect with your body’s wisdom, process trauma, and navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity.

Many of my clients are healing from addiction, complex trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and the long-term effects of emotional or relational wounds. Whether you’re in a season of deep unraveling or seeking more alignment and peace, you are welcome here.

Together, we move at the pace of your nervous system — integrating somatic therapy, EMDR, ACT, IFS, trauma-sensitive yoga, breathwork, and creative expression. I also honour and incorporate Indigenous-informed healing practices when appropriate, with humility and deep respect.

Our work gently supports reconnection to your strength, safety, and sense of wholeness — from the inside out.

  • Relationship Therapy

After 27 years of marriage, I’m convinced that meditating on a mountain for 30 years is light work compared to staying present in a loving partnership.

I support couples through disconnection, conflict, life transitions, divorce recovery, and blended family dynamics. I welcome all couples — LGBTQ2S+, straight, married or not — who are ready to do the work of reconnection or conscious uncoupling.

My work is attachment-based, exploring how early patterns shape the way you show up with each other now. Using EFT, the Gottman Method, somatic practices, and deep listening, I help couples strengthen trust, deepen understanding, and foster emotional safety together.

  • Teens and Children

Children and teens don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling — they act their pain. Big behaviours, withdrawal, anxiety, and overwhelm are often signs that something inside feels too much. When life gets stressful, children show us through their bodies, moods, and actions that they need help.

I work with young people navigating trauma, grief, emotional dysregulation, and nervous system sensitivity — including those with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing challenges. Using play, art, EMDR, and somatic therapies, I help children process safely and reconnect with a sense of confidence, calm, and joy.
